-POSTSCRIPT (17 Nov 2013): The answer at [http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10904 this forum thread] says that the View menu screens report midnight to midnight even when rollover is 9am or 10am, disagreeing with the text above.  That suggests none of the content is derived from the daily summary log as each row of that represents rollover time to rollover time. Therefore the above text needs revising by somebody who knows how Cumulus actually works.
+POSTSCRIPT (17 Nov 2013): The answer at [http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10904 this forum thread] says that the View menu screens reports average wind speed midnight to midnight (even when rollover is 9am or 10am) deriving it from just looking at the calendar date on the monthly log file. So there is a period mismatch between some parameters on the screen.
